I’m an experienced artist and filmmaker, born in the quiet English countryside and now living in industrial South Wales. My paintings explore the stories of my home, the UK, through the colour and atmosphere of its landscapes, beaches, and flowers.

 

Alongside my studio work — closely supervised by four cats — I lead art and animation workshops for children and for people living with mental health challenges or life-changing illnesses. A highlight of my long career in filmmaking and animation was winning a BAFTA Cymru for my film The Unswept Floor.

Having now stepped away from industry filmmaking, I’m building a deeper painting practice, inspired by artists such as Edward Hopper, Cézanne, and Magritte. I’m grateful for every bit of support as I continue this journey.
